Conn Doors is proudly owned and operated by Gail and Steve Conn.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Visalia, Steve began his career machining doors before spending 13 years in outside door sales at Visalia Lumber. In 1999, he turned his experience and side business into what is now Conn Doors — built on craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work.
Gail, his wife and partner, taught elementary school for 42 years, sharing her love of music and education before retiring in 2018. Her support and dedication have been key to the company’s success.
Together, Gail and Steve have built Conn Doors on a foundation of skill, honesty, and community — values that continue to guide the business today.

Estimator/Sales Manager
Tom came to work for Conn Doors in 2015 and brought years of experience in both residential and commercial projects. With over 30 years’ experience in sales, Tom has the knowledge and confidence to guide you through your next project!
Tim Stout
Production and Service Manager
Tim has been a part of Conn Doors since 2002 but has over 40 years of experience in the finish carpentry industry. Tim manages our install crews, schedules installation dates, and fabricates our beams, specialty doors, and closet units.
Bill Lindquist
Estimator
Bill has worked for Conn Doors since 2023 and has nearly 30 years’ experience working in the finish carpentry industry. With excellent product knowledge, Bill can make your dreams a reality!
Pam Jacobsma
Office Manager
Pam has worked for Conn Doors since 2005, she keeps everything behind the scenes working efficiently. Pam not only works to keep our staff supported, she is ready to answer any of your questions!
Brad Parsons
Specialty Estimator/Installer
Brad has worked for Conn Doors since 2004 and was one of the first installers Conn Doors ever had. After transitioning into sales in 2018, Brad has developed the skills to design the closet of your dreams! With the knowledge of both sales and installation, your project is in good hands.

Kelsie is the newest addition to the Conn Doors family. With her friendly demeanor and love for people, she is ready to assist you with any of your project needs.

Timeline
1986
I started in 1986, hanging new front doors or security doors for people on Saturday mornings or after work during the summer. Working my side hustle out of my garage. I spent half the profit on our household and half investing back into the business to expand my capabilities and be more profitable. Then I got my contractors license so I could take on larger projects and eventually was making more on the side than at my day job.
1999
I eventually got so busy that I quit my day job in 1999 and went on my own full-time. Continuing to grow, I started hiring people to help in 2002 and opened my own door shop in 2005, being the first in the area to supply and install finish products with my own people. This innovation work well for our customers and the business. It gave us control over quality and scheduling. God has blessed us with great team members and great customers, and we are thankful. We built a new facility in 2008, not the best time for construction, who knew, but we survived.
PRESENT
Since then my wife Gail and I have added many great people to our team. We have great retention rate with people still with us after 5, 10, 15, 20, even 23 years. Our customers have stayed with us as well, with similar time frames. I believe people are the core of any worth while endeavor and we get to work with wonderful people. Most of our advertising has been word of mouth. My faith teaches me that a good reputation is worth more than wealth and our team has done our best to keep our reputation in tack. We do that by fulfilling our customers needs and trying to do what’s right for them. If we make a mistake, we will do everything we can to make it right. We have developed a great atmosphere of helping each other, that gives our Wood PROS the ability to provide great products, service and a true concern for the needs of our customers.
